My first meeting with Baby Emmett, whom I believe I'll be photographing with quite some consistency!

My last opportunity to see one of my closest girlfriends, Breann, before she has her first baby. We spent a couple days lounging poolside at The Bacara and eating LOTS and LOTS of food!

I've learned that the best—and easiest—way to photograph kids is to capture them while they are doing what they love best: playing. So, an afternoon at the beach with my five young cousins was an ideal opportunity to document the little tykes.

A drum circle and Great White Shark-themed cupcake cake made this 3rd birthday party for Soren that much more special. The Baker Kids are so fun to photograph as they are adventurous, love getting their hands—and toes—in everything (including the icing) and all have mesmerizing crystal blue eyes.

 

Gorgeous little one Octavia celebrated her naming ceremony with a Sunday brunch and tons of wee ones playing around all over the place. Musically inclined, big brother Herschel kept everyone entertained on his mini faux Steinway.
