The Travel+Leisure Design Awards 2010 was held in San Francisco this year and I was thrilled to be part of this amazing event and work with one of my favorite magazines. The Academy of Sciences made for a perfect design-savvy venue (where else can you find a living roof and an albino alligator?) for the T+L team, the Design Award recipients, and local guests. Congrats to Adrian Zecha, founder of Aman Resorts, and all the amazingly creative design winners for making the travel industry that much more fabulous!

lana's bridal shower • tiburon, ca

No amount of rain could keep the joy away from this impeccably planned January bridal shower for Lana. From the bright green and pink polk-a-dot theme to the custom made recipe book (each guest pre-submitted a personal recipe) to the beautiful presentation of a family bracelet heirloom—this bridal shower was pure elation. Congrats to Lana & Seth!
