Ahhhh, Bay to Breakers time of year. This year I decided to concentate on documenting the craziness of this yearly very San Francisco celebration. Not only were there the compulsory nakedness, supermarket carts filled with kegs, and questionable costumes, there was a special overall "I Heart SF" theme being felt throughout the crowd in response to the city almost ridding of B2B in entirety. Thanks to all the protests and massive online campaigns, the renown race and debauchery was saved.

I've driven by Santa Monica pier countless times but hadn't walked it since I was a child. Amongst floods of tourists, I was entertained by this quintessential SoCal destination with its anti-war (but peaceful) demonstrations, money-collection street musicians and of course the Terminator, er—our California governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger leaving celebrity restaurant staple, The Ivy. In his brand new Porsche. Recession, what?
